In-Flight Experience

I just got to Shanghai two days ago, so I’m dutifully filling out the United Airlines “Guest Satisfaction Survey.” By the way, since when did it become unacceptable to call us customers? Or is it to make up for the fact that for the most part, no US airline ever treats its passengers as “guests?” Either way….

Why do you suppose I should be asked to rate “Flight attendants’ display of sensitivity to your cultural background?” What exactly does that mean anyway? I thought the days of extreme political correctness ended even before Bill Clinton’s presidency did. Oh well… must have missed the memo again.

So, what do you guys say? Should I tell UAL the truth about my “guest experience?” :)
