Busy Break

*sigh* I was about to honor my Public Finance professor by publishing my collection of Gruberisms from the past term, but now I’m angry at him for giving me a B+. Why would he want to spite me that way? Well, what can you do? It was a fun class, for whatever that’s worth.

On a different note, it’s not bad travelling on Christmas Day. You should try it sometime. All the flight attendants are happy, and since none of the business travellers show up, there’s lots of room for upgrades. Yay!

Now, back to editing the essays…

Merry Christmas

Our nearly non-existent house members came to Christmas Dinner and Colin Farrell can act. I think the world is going to end. Although, I must admit, A Home at the End of the World is actually a very, very cute movie.

After watching 4 movies straight last night, I think when I’m back in Shanghai, I’ll indulge in all my DVD madness once more. And when I reach state-side in February, I’ll watch Pride and Prejudice with Mimi. Maybe I should cancel my Chicago trip so I have enough time…

Mammalian Biology

I’ve been studying my for my final in Current Topics in Mammalian Biology, and I looked over my notes from the imprinting section. So, did you know that animals with only maternal genes have no muscle, but a well-developed brain, while animals with purely paternal genes have good muscular development, but no brain? What do you suppose that says about male vs female environments?

Back to studying…

December!

Yesterday, I got a flu shot. Tomorrow, I’m taking a Microecon exam. Today? Not a whole lot, really. Just studying. Although, Roanna did get me the world’s cutest Gund kitten. She’s already getting along with Molly fantastically. They’ll be able to keep each other company as I run around campus for the rest of the term.

The only down side is, I can only hope that they don’t eat all my peanut butter. If there’s one thing I’m afraid of, it’s collusion.
