After paying my tuition and being depressed about it, I had a couple conversations with a few fellow interns that went something like this:

Me: I just paid tuition for next term, I’m so depressed.
JC: well, I understand you, I am broke as well. But that happens when you extend Christmas from like September to May.
JC: I just love myself too much to help buying me gifts, but it’s not healthy for my personal economy.
JC: So now, it’s recession time.

Then, a little bit later…

Me: well… it’s that whole negative net worth thing that really gets me down
MH4: i think you should think about future cash flows instead

Hah! We’re all nerds.

Well, actually, I was far too lazy to take pictures of fireworks, even though I watched them three days in a row. And man, apparently going to the fireworks show gives everyone an excuse to get piss drunk by 9 PM. Sad sad sight.

And I keep meaning to go back and take a picture of Cafe Absinthe because I know that our own Mr Absinthe would really appreciate the thought. But I guess I should focus and put up the pictures from Jennie and Jo’s first week visit as well as Yasmin’s weekend here before I start thinking of other things.
