An update on this thread: Cameron took my loveseat to Sidney-Pacific and Eliseo, who is living in my Fall room this summer, will take care of my futon during the holiday.

I ended up resisting the urge to get those Bose headphones and got these Sony in-ear types instead, but in white, to match my iPod. (Many thanks to Froseph for the recommendation.) And I’m not really an expert on such matters, but they do have great bass response for such tiny earbuds, and the closed design does a pretty good job at blocking out outside noise at about 1/10 the cost of those bulky Bose headphones. Can’t ask for more than that.

And yes, I heard that they were making a reality TV series called Rock Star: INXS that would choose the next frontman for INXS. My impression was that they were still in pre-production for the series, and although it would be filmed in LA, it would be released for Australian TV in the near future. Check out the band website for updates, but last I heard, they were in final round auditions. Oh, and I think the drummer’s name is Jon Farriss.
