Wet, Wet, Wet!
Oh, the beauty of New England weather. I made the horrible mistake of waking up late again this morning. So instead of looking outside before I went off to class, I simply walked out the door. It wasn’t until I’d reached McGregor that I’d realised I had forgotten something, a couple things, actually.
First, I’d left my yogurt, with all its live and active yogurt cultures, sitting uneaten out on my desk. Then, I’d forgotten to grab an umbrella on my way out. So by the time I’d arrived at lab, I was absolutely drenched. Thank goodness for my pure nylon and spandex clothing, otherwise I would have never dried off.
The good news of the day, of course, is that I’ve finally purchased and obtained my first textbook of the term. Isn’t it my luck that our midterm is next week? Just in time. Now maybe I should go buy the course reader…. But Sloan is so far away.

Amy, is the slacker gene absent in MIT’s entire student body? Or is it just those select few? Hahaha, you sound like a lot of my engineering buddies who are too lazy to get off their buts until the midterms come rolling around. Study hard! *love*

I think about 98% of the student body is incredibly skilled in the art of procrastination. As for the other 2%, we never see them, and probably for good reason. They’ve probably been good little boys and girls, running around completing their work on time for the entirety of their college careers.
