Registration day is tomorrow and I don’t feel like I’m ready for school to begin at all. This weekend was so much fun. I basked in the glow of seeing old familiar friends and catching up on the happenings of their everyday lives. It’s amazing how wonderful it feels to just wander around the city, eating, shopping, oversleeping, going to New York, consuming too much pizza, crashing at Elaine’s at the last minute… It made me feel youthful, spontaneous, energetic, and alive again.

And now, I’m dreading the inevitable pull of MIT that will drag me into its black hole of overcast skies and problem sets. But at least the research bit has been settled and my schedule is secure. Now if only I could find a job….
