I think I’m finally giving in to the Dark Side. I feel that my 15 month-old Siemens C56 is somehow suddenly not good enough for me, and I want a new phone. This may or may not be due to the various scratch marks inflicted on the phone’s surface by my disobedient nail file, but that’s beside the point.

Anyway, here are the contenders. It’s either the NEC 525 or the Motorola V600. (Price quotes coming soon.) I’m going to trick friends into lending me theirs to play with for tomorrow. Any suggestions? Comment now or forever hold your peace.

And yes, they’re both flip phones. I don’t much care of them, but Jack is just too convincing. That, or I can’t find other quad-band GSM phones on the US market. It’s either one or the other, I’ll let you believe what you want.
