Sinking into Sweet Uncertainty

I looked at my wireless bill last night. $276.01 due upon receipt. If it had been a lesser woman, we would have seen smoke rising from the ears followed closely by a heart attack, but I chose the enlightened path: shopping and sushi. After all, what kind of loser spends her Friday nights at home on the phone with AT&T Wireless’ generally unhelpful Customer Service?

So this afternoon, after delaying the inevitably annoying chores of laundry and calling AT&T until I could stand it no longer, I threw my clothes into the washer and grabbed my handsfree. “Thank you for your patience. We appreciate your business. The next customer service representative will be with you shortly,” repeated the annoying recorded message. Two hours, three useless representatives, many complaints and one competent representative later, my account was credited with 230 dollars and an additional 400 minutes on my plan.

Should this make me want to sign my 2 year contract more or less?
